Runbow's release date for Nintendo Switch™ and PlayStation®4 postponed for final polishing

20 April 2018 The colorful racing chaos of award-winning party game Runbow will be postponed for some weeks in order to further optimize the game’s performance.

Headup Games and 13AM Games deeply apologize to everyone who's already looking forward excitedly to play it, but in order to feature the highest quality possible, Runbow needed to be delayed for PlayStation®Store and Nintendo eShop. But rest assured - it's just a matter of weeks. You will get the newest date, as soon as it is set.

The same may apply to the retail Runbow Deluxe Edition, due to the digital shift this date will probably shift back a bit as well. The Deluxe Edition will include all DLCs and nice physical goodies.


Runbow features an eye-catching color mechanic that has racers brawl amongst each other while objects and platforms appear or disappear based on the continually changing background color. All multiplayer modes can be played by up to 9 players simultaneously online, while it features 8-player local multiplayer madness on Nintendo Switch as well as 4 player local chaos on PlayStation™4. Besides that, the game features a bevy of content in its single-player modes that will test the skills and minds of any seasoned platformer.

19 April 2018 April 19, 2018 - The physical retail box of Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap for Nintendo Switch™ and PlayStation®4 is now available in European and Australian/NZ major retail stores - the MSRP is €39.99 / £34.99.



Aside from the game itself, both boxes contain several physical extras:

• a retro-style manual, reminiscent of the SEGA era of gaming
• the original soundtrack on mini CD
• an adorable phone strap featuring the game's main character

Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap is a beautifully hand-drawn and animated remake of the unforgettable Sega Master System game Wonder Boy III. Cursed and turned into a half-human, half-lizard monstrosity by the Meka Dragon, our hero will have to explore the many traps of Monster Land in order to find a cure. The game’s developer, Lizardcube, reverse-engineered the original game in order to faithfully replicate the character movements, item drop logic, secret door locations and much more.

The Switch and PS4™ versions of Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap are presented in widescreen HD, with enhanced interface functions, a new playable character (Wonder Girl) and the option to toggle between the all-new hand-drawn visuals and the original graphics and sound.

27 March 2018 Headup Games proudly announces today's release of Bridge Constructor Stunts for PlayStation™4, available coming with today's PlayStation®Store update. The wild blend of constructing stunts courses and action-packed stunt driving will be available for 9.99 USD / 9.99 Euro. After the successful launches of Bridge Constructor Portal and the original Bridge Constructor earlier, it's the third game in the franchise for PS4®.

This time, it’s much more about controls as you not only create your own courses -including ramps, loops and explosive barrels- but will also drive the vehicles yourself afterward, leaving a trail of destruction.

26 March 2018 Headup Games and Happy Tuesday announce a new publication period for Hero Defense, an innovative genre mix of RTS and tower defense, while various RPG elements provide for enormous depth. It will be released on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One in Q2 2018; an exact release date will be announced soon.

Hero Defense is set in a dark fantasy world populated by monsters like vampires, werewolves and zombies. By its multiple gameplay elements - RTS, tower defense and RPG - it is an interesting challenge for a wide spectrum of players. 21 March 2018 Headup Games and Pixel Perfex announce Earth Atlantis for "PS4" and Xbox One. The action-filled shooter is set in a post-apocalyptic world where a climate shift has struck the earth and marked civilization’s downfall. With most of the land now being completely flooded, life is only possible beneath the ocean.

Mankind's main capitals are destroyed and lay at the bottom of the sea, as ruins of steel and stone. The machines have found their place in this new environment and now roam the seas as terrifying hybrids of creatures and machines.
 
The unique visuals of Earth Atlantis feature the style of old sketches, reminiscing a time where sea exploration commenced and the sea was believed to be inhabited by fantastic as well as dangerous creatures. Now, once again, the world has to be discovered. Board one of four individual submarines - each with different advantages and weaponry. Hunt down huge bosses in an intense retro style side-scrolling shooter.

Bridge Constructor Portal is now available on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation®4

07 March 2018 Headup Games proudly announces the release of Bridge Constructor Portal for all major current console systems. Following the release on PC and mobile systems end of last year, the unique puzzle game is now also available for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation®4.

On Xbox One, buyers of the new game will also receive the classical Bridge Constructor game for free in the next two weeks. Well ain't that a treat...

Don't worry, European PlayStation players: In the first two weeks from launch day (March 7), PS Plus members will receive a 15% launch discount on PlayStation®Store. The game's standard price on all consoles is 14.99 € / $14.99. 


Controller-optimized build mode:
In comparison to the original Bridge Constructor game, there are some advantages in regards to its controls. For example, now you see all possible connections indicated as dashed lines. By pressing R3, it is possible to construct all those indicated connections at once, instead of creating every connection one by one. Of course, this also works on Nintendo Switch and Xbox One by pressing down the right stick.
